OGGS®, the UK’s leading plant-based bakery and egg-alternative brand, has relaunched its iconic Vegan Luxury Handmade Mince Pies into over 700 Tesco stores in time for the festive season.
OGGS® vegan-friendly Mince Pies are a plant-based take on the classic recipe we all know and love, packed full of spiced mincemeat and laced with brandy. Using plant-based ingredients instead of animal-based ones reduces the CO2e created by the product, and the use of 100% recycled plastic in packaging makes the festive treats kinder to the planet as well as to animals.
A recent poll from OGGS asked respondents to join #TeamOctober, #TeamNovember or #TeamDecember to discover once and for all when it’s acceptable to start eating Mince Pies. It found that 44% of us can’t wait to start eating Mince Pies in October, while 31% prefer to wait for November and 25% of Scrooges wait until December to tuck into our Christmas favourites.
Previously OGGS® Mince Pies won iCrossing’s yearly Mince Pie taste test, with the vegan treats coming up the winner compared to competition from Tesco, Waitrose, M&S and Sainsbury’s.
