New breakfast drink aims to make ‘on the go’ breakfast options healthier

Premium granola brand, Lizi’s, has launched a nutritious breakfast drink aimed at active  consumers that are looking for a healthier on-the-go breakfast option.

The new product Lizi’s Breakfast Drink contains all the goodness of the brand’s granola, coming in a 250ml bottle, which can be enjoyed chilled or straight from the cupboard. The new product, which is lower in sugar and higher in protein than any rival and has a perfect balance of fibre, offering a slow release of energy and will be available in three popular flavours:

  • Lizi’s Breakfast Drink – Chocolate
  • Lizi’s Breakfast Drink – Vanilla
  • Lizi’s Breakfast Drink – Strawberry

Lizi’s Breakfast Drink has no added sugar and also contains vitamin B6, which contributes to the normal energy yielding metabolism.

The breakfast drinks market is worth £25.68m and has grown by 6.8% vs last year, with loyalty driving this forward. Chocolate flavoured drinks are the top sellers (5.2% value growth), followed by Vanilla (-1.9% value) and then Strawberry (6.6% value).  (IRI data w/e 17th June 2018)
