Not only has Lancashire-based Fazilas Foods managed to grow its business during lockdown, but it has also launched a brand new website that it hopes will help it communicate its message and company values to a wider audience.
Throughout lockdown Fazilas Foods has not stopped working. In fact, the award-winning company has gone into overdrive. Last September it announced a new business partnership with Clayton Park Bakery that saw the Bolton made products stocked in Spar outlets around the north of England. In October the company helped fundraising efforts for the children of Yemen and in January it laid on a spectacular Asian-inspired feast for staff and residents of Bolton Hospice.
The latest development in the upward trajectory of Fazilas Foods is the new website and to celebrate its launch the company will be running a countdown to the big day with a series of prize giveaways.
Fazila Malek, Director of Fazilas Foods, explained: “The business has been going from strength-to-strength. As we’ve grown we’ve taken on more staff, found bigger premises and now we need a greater online presence.
“We’ve always seen Fazilas Foods as part of the community here in Bolton, and the wider area. This website is part of that. We set it up as an online hub for anyone who wants to find out about us, our brand, and our products. Its designed for customers, potential customers, and members of the general public.”
In addition to all the usual information you’d expect, the website contains the fascinating company history. The firm was set up by Fazila Malek after she settled with her family in Bolton. Her life story begins in India. She then travelled to Botswana before finally arriving in Bolton.
Curry is the UK’s favourite dish and Fazilas Foods is making those flavours available in a convenient snack form. With products like spicy samosas, wraps, and Fazilas’ famous Chickpea and Potato curry, hungry people can put fire in their bellies with a true taste of Asian spices.
Fazilas Foods is a true marriage of East and West and a brilliant Lancashire success story. Its products are available in Spar shops in the north of England. It is also for sale in other outlets up and down the country including hospitality venues of all kinds.
