Fit Cat low calorie lager to launch in the UK

Fit Cat, a new premium low-calorie lager will launch on 1st April 2026. The brainchild of restaurateur Arian Zandi, co-founder of Emerald Hospitality Group, Fit Cat is a balanced lager designed to match a balanced life.

Committed to a healthy lifestyle, Arian enjoys regular exercise and prioritises wellbeing. But like everyone, he also enjoys a good beer. Fit Cat has been developed to offer consumers a middle ground when choosing lager, delivering full flavour with fewer calories and moderate alcohol.

Rather than reducing flavour, Fit Cat has naturally reworked the brewing process by carefully balancing malt, enzymes and fermentation to create a low calorie lager with real character. Free from artificial adjustments or dilution, Fit Cat is not simply “lager light” but a new generation of lager built for balance.

Brewed locally in Surrey, Fit Cat is crafted with sustainability and provenance at its core. Presented in a distinctive opaque bottle with its signature light pink label and clean, minimal branding, Fit Cat is designed as much for the lifestyle it represents as for the beer itself. Effortlessly modern, light, and stylish, it reflects a new generation of drinkers who value balance, wellbeing, and social connection. At roughly 90 calories per 330ml bottle, Fit Cat contains around half the calories of many traditional lagers, offering a refreshing and drinkable option for those who want to enjoy a beer while staying aligned with their active, modern lifestyle.

Fit Cat will initially launch exclusively across a curated selection of premium London venues, with limited production and selective distribution designed to maintain quality and brand integrity. The beer has already soft launched across Emerald Hospitality venues with a resounding response and is quickly becoming a customer favourite.

With discussions underway with a number of leading hospitality operators, Fit Cat aims to become the lager of choice in like-minded venues across London and the UK where eating well and drinking well go hand in hand.
