Beer Hawk launches ‘no-brainer’ bottled beer service to off-trade

dsc_4865 BeerHawk.co.uk, the multi-award winning online beer retailer, has launched a new service offering off-trade businesses access to a wide variety of brilliant craft beer, without the need for a minimum order of any single beer. Available across the UK (excluding NI) the minimum spend is just £50 (net) with the ability to pick ‘n’ mix beers with no minimum quantity of each beer bought. This exceptional opportunity means off trade customers do not need to be concerned about expiry date issues or over-stocking on new or unusual beers.

Mark Roberts, founder and director of Beer Hawk, explains: “We can’t wait to start working with the off-trade, specialist independents, small local retailers, entrepreneurial farm shops and delis across the UK. We’re enabling off-licensees the opportunity to provide interesting and unique beers, in small volumes, to tempt and interest their local customers. We reject 29 out of 30 beers that are offered for inclusion in Beer Hawk’s range and as a result can rightly claim to have the best range of craft beer in the country. We think we’ve put together a really compelling proposition when compared with the traditional wholesaler routes to market.”

Trade clients can order their Pick ‘n Mix selection online at www.beerhawk.co.uk/trade, choose from a standard two-day, express one-day or Saturday delivery and simply pay by card. They will also benefit from Beer Hawk’s great relationships with cutting edge breweries and a fantastic track record in recognising the next best thing in the craft beer world.

Allowing customers to select from over 500 premium bottled beers, cherry picked from recognisable names such as Brewdog, Chimay and Goose Island and also from some of the hottest and toughest to source breweries on the planet, Beer Hawk are now using their well-established consumer expertise to supply the off-trade with their carefully curated collection. The Beer Hawk portfolio allows independent off-licensees of all shapes and sizes to have access to fantastic beers at low minimum order quantities, itself a unique proposition within the wholesale sector.dsc_5031

Off trade customers can also take advantage of Beer Hawk’s fully accredited Beer Sommelier, Maggie Cubbler, who curates Beer Hawk’s range of beer and also can provide suggestions for food and beer pairings. This original service is backed up by Beer Sherpas, similar to wine advisors, who are on hand via phone to help advise and guide customers, according to their needs and preferences.

Spotting an early trend of consumers wanting to enjoy premium speciality craft beers from around the world, in the comfort of their own armchair, Beer Hawk has grown to become the UK’s largest consumer beer delivery platform in just four years.
