SlimLine Wines, the world’s first zero sugar, zero carb portfolio of wines, has secured a JV partnership with Hamilton Bradshaw Capital Partners (HBCP) as it prepares to launch in the UK very soon. HBCP was co-founded by Adrian Bradshaw CEO and ‘Dragon’ James Caan.
SlimLine Wine will offer a four-strong range, Super Sparkling, Red, White and Rose, which contain just over half the calories of an average bottle of wine (373 vs 700 in the Super Sparkling) and 0g of sugar versus the 24g found in most sparkling wines, without any compromise on flavour or ABV.
In development for the past two years, the EU accredited sugar free range will launch with its first shipment of 400,000 bottles from its vineyard in Piedmonte, and is set to launch in the marketplace offering a revolutionary new wine.
SlimLine Wine Founder, Paul Gidley, comments: “There is a huge and currently untapped opportunity within the wine category, with consumers across multiple different audience profiles looking for products that have zero sugar and zero carbs but that don’t compromise on taste or, within the wine category specifically, ABV strength. SlimLine Wine is the first only true full-range of Zero Sugar, Zero Carbs wine and in being so is a totally new opportunity for the wine market and wine consumers as a whole.”
Adrian Bradshaw, Co-Founder of HBCP said: “We are delighted to partner with SlimLine Wine in this exciting project and to be involved in the funding of it. We believe the wines will be well received by the wine consumer and will address consumer concerns relating to calories in wine.”
