Polymer Logistics sponsors Fresh Produce Business of the Year Award at the FPC Fresh Awards 2019

Polymer Logistics will once again be an award sponsor at the FPC Fresh Awards. To be held on the 6th June in London, the FPC Fresh Awards 2019 celebrate the successes of individuals and companies in the produce supply chain through its prestigious annual competition. Judges have now identified the category finalists.

The Fresh Produce Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Polymer Logistics, is termed the ‘Winner of Winners’ and is chosen by judges from the winners of the Supply Chain, Retail and Business Excellence Categories. Last year’s honour in this category was achieved by Aldi.

This year’s Fresh Awards event will be hosted by Graeme Swann, former English international cricketer. Since retirement, he has become a popular commentator and a regular on TV, including as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.

Aside from being an event sponsor, Polymer was also a Fresh Awards 2018 winner in the Business Service Partner Category for its Cleanpal plastic pallet. Cleanpal pallets deployed in the Freshlinc, D.E. Brands and Asda supply chain with remarkable success. Cleanpal is the paradigm-shifting hygienic pallet that weighs only half as much as a dry wood pallet while delivering a host of operational, sustainability and safety benefits to the fresh produce supply chain.

Polymer Logistics provides a range of equipment and services aimed at improving the efficiency of the fresh produce supply chain, including Cleanpal, ½ pallet (UDP), RPCs, Wood-Look Display Fixtures, wash services, IoT tracking, and more.

Adrian Dale said: “Every year, the FPC Fresh Awards showcase excellence in the fresh produce supply chain. Please join us in applauding the finalists of this year’s event, and in wishing all participants the best of luck. The winners will be announced 6th June at Freshawards 2019, to be held at the Pavilion, Tower of London.”
