Plant power your January with BOL foods, now available in Costa

It has been announced that BOL foods will now be appearing in just over 1,200 Costa stores nationwide, providing 100% plant-powered options for on-the-go-consumers.

As part of the development there will be the launch of two BOL foods’ shake-it-to-make-it salad jars: the BOL Japanese Rainbow Slaw and the BOL Mexican Bean, Salsa & Quinoa.

Handily packaged in a shakeable jar, they are the ultimate convenience food: perfectly dressed and ready to eat in moments.

The protein boosting BOL Roasted Red Pepper, Smoky Tomato & Red Lentils Super Soup and immune boosting BOL Sweet Potato, Lentil & Cauli-Daal Super Soup will also feature on Costa menus. These twists on classic soups offer a filling, comforting option, but are high in protein and carry up to three of your Five a Day, making them a great lunchtime all-rounder.

BOL is always looking for ways to reduce its impact on the planet, so to top it off, its salad jars have undergone a make-over and are re-launching in January with an aluminium lid, preventing approximately 20 tonnes of plastic from entering production.

The mission at BOL is to inspire the world to eat more plants, and with Costa being on a mission of their own, to improve their fresh food offering, the company couldn’t be more excited to plant-power into the next decade with this this partnership.

Eric Tavoukdjian, Commercial Marketing Director at Costa Coffee, said: “We are really pleased to have BOL products come into Costa Coffee. January has a reputation for being a dull time of year, but at Costa Coffee we believe it’s as an opportunity to try something new. By partnering with BOL we are looking forward offering our customers some great quality vegan options to try in the new year that they can enjoy in store or on the go.”
