The premium all-natural, low sugar soft drink Zeo has today officially been voted as one of the UK’s coolest brands. The 2016/17 CoolBrands listing is the result of an extensive voting process that involved 36 influencers and 2,500 members of the British public.
Influencers who voted included musicians DJ Fresh, Ella Eyre and Labrinth, MOBO Founder Kanya King MBE, numerous bloggers such as Fashion Blogger, Camille Charrière, Beauty and Fashion Vlogger Amelia Liana and Ella Mills (née Woodward), Foodie, Blogger, Author and Co-Founder of the mae deli, alongside Fashion Designers Melissa Odabash and Amanda Wakeley and leading Editors from publications such as TechRadar, Elle Decoration and InStyle. All the brands were judged on four factors deemed to be inherent in a CoolBrand: authenticity, desirability, innovation and originality.
The latest CoolBrands results – headed by Apple – underline Zeo’s prestige and allure within the country. Competition is substantial, with thousands of brands from over 50 sectors considered by the voters; only those achieving top scores qualify for CoolBrands status.
Stephen Cheliotis, Chairman of the CoolBrands Council, said, “CoolBrands status illustrates that Zeo is rated highly by both influencers and the British public. This is proof that the brand is considered highly original and innovative, two factors that voters consider. It also clearly shows that the brand is desired, a lustre that often means it’s chosen ahead of peers. CoolBrands status is also testament to the brand being seen as authentic and being passionate about what it does. Although most CoolBrands do not strive to be perceived as cool, being recognised independently in this way is naturally a wonderful affirmation that what the brand is doing is recognised, valued and respected by consumers and those influencing them”.
Premium soft drink brand zeo has a portfolio of five natural flavours with low sugar content and naturally sourced ingredients and botanicals. Lightly carbonated, and made with 98% spring water, zeo launched to challenge the soft drinks category by offering an alternative to sugary, calorie-laden soft drinks that have previously dominated the sector. Containing only 2.3g of sugar per 100ml zeo has a Food Standards Agency Green traffic light and this year became the first global soft drinks brand to be awarded the Sugarwise mark.
