Lineage Logistics employee wins FSDF Award

Award winner Ian Harvey

Ian Harvey, UK Technical Manager at integrated logistics provider Lineage Logistics, previously Partner Logistics, has been awarded ‘Best Individual Contribution to Health & Safety’ by the Food Storage and Distribution Federation (FSDF) awards.

Ian was chosen as the winner in this category in recognition of his work in overseeing the design and installation of a new bespoke safety system. The system is tailored for high level working and eliminates the risk of working at height in a high bay cold store environment.

The introduction of this system was so successful that it was installed at three other similar cold store facilities, one in the UK and the other two in continental Europe.

Ian said: “It feels great to be given this award by the FSDF. This is not just for myself, but for the dedicated team who worked alongside me to deliver such a successful project.”

Duco Bujize, Senior Vice President Europe, said: “We’re delighted that Ian’s outstanding achievements have been commended by the FSDF. The FSDF awards are voted for by members, and it’s great to see that the work done by Ian and the team has been recognised by others within our industry.”

The FSDF awards aim to recognise individuals and companies whose contributions have made an exceptional difference to health and safety in their workplace.

Ian will receive his award at the FSDF Annual Lunch in Manchester on Thursday 19th October.
