Isle of Bute Gin, inspired by the idyllic distillery surroundings, has launched a unique selection of hand-crafted small batch gins, each carefully curated using ingredients sourced locally from the island. Each gin captures the essence of the Isle of Bute; the selection includes the Island Gin, Gorse Gin, Heather Gin, Oaked Gin and to top it off, the world’s first Oyster Gin.
Crafted with care in the heart of Rothesay, Isle of Bute Gin brings together an eclectic mix of botanicals to create lasting gin flavours to thrill gin drinkers and showcase the beauty of land and sea.
Head Distiller, Simon Tardivel, is well acquainted with the island and when not perched by his still he can be found foraging for gorse and heather flowers, all of which is hand-picked from the grounds of Mount Stuart and surrounding terrain. Having joined Isle of Bute Gin with a background working for some of the largest drink’s producers in the world, Simon is ideally placed to contribute cutting edge ideas whilst leading the production of time-tested craft methods.
