ASK Italian unveils new autumn menu, bringing the Italian dining experience to life

ASK Italian has unveiled an inviting new Autumn menu encouraging people to embrace Italian culture and eat with gusto as Autumn approaches. Whether looking for a steaming bowl of pasta, or a pizza fresh from the oven, these delicious dishes will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy as the cold weather and dark nights draw in.

The new menu will feature a selection of classic Italian dishes and vibrant winter warmers with a twist, including the all-new Butternut Squash & Prosciutto Risotto featuring baby ruby radish shoots and pumpkin seeds, and the delectable Beef & Chianti Ravioli with slow cooked beef and chianti ragu, dressed up for the occasion in an eye-catching charcoal black and white ravioli; served with a red wine sauce. Perfect for those after an Instagram-worthy pasta-fix.

Begin your culinary journey into Italy with warming starters such as Spinach & Ricotta Arancini served with a spicy tomato dip; Tuscan Bean Soup with mixed beans, or the Light Butterfly King Prawns, oven roasted and seasoned with lemon juice and Santos tomatoes, topped with rocket and yellow courgette ribbons. For those after a lighter option, there is the award-winning[1] Purple Basil Pesto Genovese, combining green pesto and cream sauce, with fine green beans, purple basil pesto and rainbow salad – all under 550 calories.

Pizza lovers will welcome the Slow Cooked Lamb addition complete with fontal cheese, roasted peppers, spinach, balsamic red onions and pine nuts. For vegetarians, sweet dreams are made of cheese with the generous Four Cheese Margherita featuring mascarpone, mozzarella, fontal and riserva cheese on a tomato base.

All menu items offer the option to make it vegetarian and there are Allergen, Vegan & Non-Gluten menus available, with dishes including our new vegan Zucca Zucca Pizza featuring butternut squash two ways – both as a purée on the base, and on top – alongside balsamic red onions, roquito pepper pearls, spinach, pumpkin seeds and a vegan mozzarella alternative.

To end your Italian love-affair on a high, choose from a sumptuous, show-stopping selection of desserts including White Chocolate Swirl, a smooth white chocolate and almond mousse on crushed pistachio nuts and strawberries served with a cascading blood orange sauce; or a take on the classic Italian Rum Baba dessert, Warm Rum Doughnuts, a favourite treat soaked in rum and served with your choice of sauce; shimmery sour cherry or milk chocolate.

Kids and adults alike will love the Golden Marshmallow Cone, drizzled with shimmery sour cherry sauce over the peak of this marshmallow-filled milk chocolate cone. The Warm Pear Tart on an almond frangipane base, with raspberries and vanilla gelato offers a sophisticated finish to your culinary journey.
