Aero Mousse celebrates success with launch of new limited edition

After the successful launch of the indulgent AERO Mousse milk chocolate bar in 2015, Nestlé Confectionery is introducing a new caramel version for a limited time only.

AERO Mousse Caramel combines smooth, bubbly chocolate with a layer of soft, velvety caramel-flavoured mousse within a thin decadent chocolate shell.  The limited edition impulse bar has been available from 15 February, RRP 62p.

With sales of caramel flavoured chocolate increasing by 33 per cent in the past five years, the flavour offers a broad appeal consumers will enjoy.

The new limited edition comes on the back of a profitable first nine months for AERO Mousse Milk. A huge 98 per cent of sales have been incremental to the core brand, with a fantastic 40 per cent incremental to the confectionery category. It has also attracted a younger, more affluent consumer to the AERO brand. To further capture shoppers’ attention, from this month AERO Mousse Milk will benefit from updated packaging giving it an even more premium look.

What’s more, in January AERO Mousse Milk received an additional endorsement when it was announced it had been voted Product of the Year for Confectionery 2016, an accolade voted for by a panel of 10,000 consumers.

This year the AERO brand will be supported by a £5m media programme, including new TV advertising as well as bespoke activity for AERO Mousse Caramel via Facebook in March.
